I hate threads like this.  You could go on all day.  I tried before to list a top 3 or 5 and I think I settled for a top 20, and I liked them all equally.

I like the usual suspects, the likes of Bravheart, Shawshank, Godfathers etc but they will all come up.  I will fire a few of my favourites that don't seem to be as liked by others:

Speaking of Nam movies, there was a very good one made a couple of years ago called 'Rescue Dawn' that few seem to have seen. Worth checking out if you're into those types of movies.
