good effort, but it doesnt look like he made it...

Glensman

Reckon its the Glen and Slaughtneil (though wouldn't be 100% on the first of those and would defer to the Derry boys).

Re making the block - depends on the angle of the kick, the wee man could still have made it! Fair play.

Its my favourite skill in gaelic the diving block (nothing to do with being slightly defensive minded).

Definitely Slaughtneil v Glen - no love lost here. Might be under 8s but there's probably a ruckus going on up the other end. :D

Plus his eyes are closed AND his hands are too open, the ball is going to go through them, thats if he even makes it

think the glen wrote on the ball would suggest it is indeed glen :)

Zapatista

It's brilliant. It's not a new photo though as it has been hanging in a local  pub for a few years now.

I'd say he already made the block ;)

The ball could be stolen from a previous match, OR  it could be Glentoran, Glenavon, Glenroe,or even Glenullan, so its hardly that obvious

It's a gaelic ball, not soccer ;)

I was only trying to make the point that there are more than one place/club that start with Glen,  ;)

You are both assuming that the ball is going upwards from the kickers foot.  How do you know he hasn't already made the block and the ball is on the rebound downwards?

Random spelling of Glenullen is my job.

The caption below the photo tells you who is playing.
