If you were any use you'd be playing.

Another good news story for the GAA - return of another of our stars.

Yesterdays Irish news back page was dominated by a possible return of martin Clarke also

Sure Clarke isn't even getting a game now.

Seems he's gone backwards a bit this year. Setanta has actually been having his best season for Carlton since he left. Even hit 11 goals this year.

Amazing. He was such a talent to begin with. It's a very tough sport and fairly puts Kennelly's achievements in perspective.

I'm reading as well that Sydney are looking to the potential of taking Kennelly back again next year.

Jinxy

I don't think it's a question of ability with Clarke.
He's easily good enough.
Maybe his heart/head just isn't in it anymore.

Maybe the ould dust up with the team mate was no harm. You'd often see that.

Maybe Pearse Hanley will jack it in so too.
Mayo for Sam! Just don't ask me for a year

Final Whistle

I read somewhere it was Clarkes kicking style that has left hime exposed. Article stated it takes him too long to get the ball to boot and opposition teams had picked up on this.

Id love to see Clarke back in the red and black. Ulster needs a strong Down.

Don't think he's going to have a choice.....hamstring has ruined him and his chances. Axe could fall soon

From what we have seen in the championship this year, the more intelligent ball-playing footballers like Clarke we have playing our sport the better

Genuinely I feel sorry for him and would like to see him doing well over there because he has serious ability for the game. But every cloud has a silver lining too.
