Has this game been rearranged yet?

Have been unable to see any update and will it be played in Breffni Park?   The Armagh/Kildare game was great.

Discussed yesterday what Cúl Green have to say about fixtures. They could play the game in drogheda, have both teams arrive by train and bus, and be a whole lot handier for both counties. Being in cavan has put me right off.

Yep Drogheda would make an awful lot more sense right enough.
As I dream about movies they won't make of me when I'm dead

They must have a strange map at HQ. Down and Dublin are separated by a county. Its pretty much a halfway house. But theyd rather have both teams make a 2 hour trip away to Cavan.

Are the Down team all back training now?

It must be a pretty strange map you have too!

To get from Down to Dublin you have to go through at least 3 counties

Unnecessarily pedantic Lazer. The point being made is a simple one; Drogheda or Navan are only one county's drive away. You can travel from North Down to South Dublin in the time it takes to get from South Down to Cavan.

This game was originally scheduled at 4pm for Cavan as part of a double bill, which was reasonable enough. They have simply moved it on 2 weeks. I doubt whether much thought has been given to moving it elsewhere.
If at first you don't succeed, then goto Plan B

Common sense would see this game fixed for Drogheda, but it is the GAA we are dealing with.  ::)
