I think TG4 did the top gaa goals and Kevin Foley's v Dublin in 91 won it.  I think Mulligan's goal was 5th or soemthing like that.

I think Benny Coulter's goal against Donegal should be up there too ;)

Catch the high ball

That goal from Tipp a couple of weeks ago was a cracker when he burst through the defence and and drove it in the top corner.

Michael Donnellan scored one in the AIQF in 2002 against Kerry where he took on their whole defence from halfway and rifled it in the corner. A cracker, but never remembered as Galway went on to get a bit of a hiding that day.

Tony your ignorance is shining like a beacon, one of the great features of that goal was the off the ball running of men like Canvan and Mc Guigan, they wreaked havoc there so that Mulligan was fit to target and bring to him the two men that he neede to get round before he pulled the trigger on the best goalkeeper in Ireland at the time.  Get with the game.  As for oisins goal well the fact the goalkeeper didnt come out and smother what was affectively a GAA tap in says more about a lack of concentration possibly through boredom.

It's unlikely that the Kerry goalkeeper was suffering from boredom as he saved a penalty before half-time and smothered another goal chance from Diarmuid Marsden not long before the mcconville goal. he was coming towards mcconville, and possibly predicting, like most keepers would, that oisin would shoot to the far corner. Oisin shot unexpectedly to the near post and I think it is unfair to credit this goal to a lack of concentration from the keeper, rather than a nice piece of skill by Mcconville

Looking through this thread, for whatever reason, there seemed to be a load of cracking goals in 1997. Here's Pa Laide's for Kerry. Wait for the last replay of it to get the best view.

Can't find Gallagher's for Fermanagh the same year on Youtube but it was even better than that one.

Also quite like this double drop kick effort from 1985.

You don't see many of those anymore, which is a pity. It was still a common skill when I was playing schools football in the early 90s.

Karol Mannions is probably the pick of the bunch though.

EDIT: I forgot about Keelaghan's goal for Rhode in the Leinster Club Championship a few years back. Don't think its been posted yet.

I remember that one - into the Canal End. A superb goal. After it went in I remember uttering the words "Either of those teams would wipe the floor with Armagh." (We had just been held to a draw by Sligo)

Listons pass to egan was a throw,  should have been a free out.   ;)  ;)  ;)

Ciaran McManus has any number of candidates,  league semi v's Donegal in Croker,  Leinster championship v's Laois in portlaoise, league match v's Dublin in parnell park.
But the ultimate greatest goal of all time............Seamus Darby.

Not a goal but a memorable score at any rate was Martin Daly's backheeled point about 10 years ago.
