Old barbecue has burnt its last burger. Looking for a new one and can't decide if I want a gas one or the old charcoal burning type. What's the consenus out there? ???

You jest, yes?

I would eat BBQ food all day every day if I could, love them...

Had a great one there last Saturday: Burgers, Hot Dogs, Chinese Kebabs and some Steak... Washed down with some cold Magner's.

Aye they were some laugh, think that must have been the week of the good weather in my third year was it??

I remember the video rightly, I was in some shape, my t shirt was tidy too after I had half my food down it!

Ai just before and during the World Cup.

Was some video indeed. That was the day you brought over your mix CD from your days as a DJ  :D

Charcoal  has great taste but is far too much effort and difficult to control. A Gas BBQ can be turned on and be ready in 20 minutes a charcoal  BBQ can take an hour and in this country an hour means it will have rained 3 times .
Anyway, long story short... is a phrase whose origins are complicated and rambling.

I think you'll find it was a mix tape. Never did get that tape back either. Such a loss to the world.

I have a weber Gas one but I also picked up a Weber Smokie joe...it's one of them wee 16" round yokes
and I got one of them coal starters that you light with paper also, mighty job.. ready to go in 15 minutes then
simply pour the hot coals onto the grate.
