2005

That one was the actual trophy that Man Utd lifted in 1999. If their fans ever want to see it, it can be found at Anfield Road, Liverpool, L4 0TH

Was good to see Fergie taking the defeat in the proper way. He showed that bit of class that other managers could learn from. But then some other managers will never have class. :-\

Class me hole! what else could the aul bollix say only what he did..They were battered off the pitch by a far superior team not even old whiskey nose could make excuses last night
For once he couldn't blame the Ref,the pitch he couldn't even blame the colour of United's jerseys  :D

certainly is a different cup now, because liverpool kept that one they lifted in 2005 after 5 times. And yea it nay have been named a different competition the first 4 times we won it...but it was harder to win! had to be champions to get in, straight knockout etc!!

What have Vidic & Jordan got in common?

They both regret letting a black man come inside them :-[

You won't see a more one sided champions league final for a long time, Barca completely dominated once their first goal went in.

Anderson is complete rubbish, Giggs is and has been past it for years, Berbatov is a waste of money, Tevez a poor mans Kuyt and Rooney completely overrated, shown it again last night.

Man United fan kills 4 Barcelona fans

Barcelona fans killed in Nigeria
A Manchester United fan in Nigeria killed four people when he drove his minibus into a crowd of Barcelona supporters after his team lost the Champions League final, police said today.

The crowd in the town of Ogbo were celebrating Barcelona's victory after last night's match when the bus drove into them. A police spokeswoman said 10 people were injured and the driver was arrested.

"The driver had passed the crowd then made a U-turn and ran into them," she said.

Barcelona beat Manchester United 2-0 in what was hailed as a "dream final" between two of Europe's best clubs. Both teams have large fan bases in Nigeria, Africa's most populous nation.

Did anyone else think it was a bit 'funny' that Scholes took the armband whenever Giggs went off. Not that its a big deal or anything just thought it was a bit funny. Though Ferdinand was vice vice captain (not a type giggs vice captain, neville captain)

Its amazing that such an even number of people voted for each candidate. Looks like a fix to me.

Maybe they were more concerned about trying to get back in the game rather than who was wearing an armband?
