I wonder how the heck Harrington managed to run up a 9 on the par 5 second.
No water on it, perhaps a drive (or two) went out of bounds.

stuff happens ;) john daly once took 11 on a par 3 and when asked what happened said "i missed the putt for 10"

Still reckon Cabrera is the man, great temperament and has done it before
Keep your pecker hard and your powder dry and the world will turn.

Steve Stricker quietly moving into the frame with improving rounds.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Smart boss, always one of my favourite golfers but never backed him this time or when he won US open  >:( went for Els missed cut :'(
Everybody knows there no sucha thing as Sanity Clause.

Dinny Breen

Gerry ya bollox only saw your signature there, very harsh, it wasn't my fault I checked the spreads before the All-Ireland final  ;D

Would love to see Katayama make a charge but think it will between Angel and Furyk in the end, funny feeling Furyk's steady play could do it for him.

Dinny, that signature is staying until you win it legitimately! I have backed Furyk myself, intersting statistic that out of the last 20 majors 18 or 19 have been won by one of the final paring! Off to Parnell park to see Westmeath beat the Dubs!

You gotta love Sunday at The Masters, few cold beers, no work tomorrow and Augusta on the TV, brilliant.

Bogball XV

Just checked up Perry in last year's players championship - he shot an 81 when leading into the final round - not saying he'll do that today, but I don't see why Wayne Grady reckons he won't shoot worse than 70.
All to play for, hope it's a good one - haven't seen a play-off here in a few years.

2 fancies for next week

Henrik Stenson at 55/1- he's due a big performance at one of the majors
Kenny Perry 50/1- other than Tiger and Mickelson over the last couple of years he is as consistent as anyone.

Some great each way value well down the field

Hope you stuck with it and didn't let me put you off.

Scores seem to be flying in, will that help or hinder the leaders?

tyronefan

paddy  +3  just had a 7 on the 9th par 4

Carmen Stateside

Mickelson seems to be on form today!
Playing with Tiger could be driving him on.
