am i right in thinking the prices for subsequent games in the championship for season ticket holders will now not be reduced as it was in the last few years????

its says it on the terms here, you will be charged each match at the base rate (wtf is that??). previous years it stated it would be a fiver off except for finals...
https://www.seasontickets.ie/Content/pdf/GAA-Season-Ticket-2011-Terms-Conditions.pdf

The base rate is the €75 for adults or €10 for U16s. You still get a fiver off, bar the Provincial Final & the All-Ireland Final when the normal full price will apply, according to here: http://www.gaa.ie/tickets-and-merchandise/tickets/gaa-season-ticket/price-and-payment/
Westmeath - Home of the Christy Ring Cup...

Not great value for us rossies with those season tickets! big pile of shite that is Division 4 & without most of the St Brigids/college players for 4/5 games.

The key to success is to be consistently competitive -- if you bang on the door often it will open

It'll make sure we get an All Ireland final ticket though ;) :D

Are the season tickets £75 and if so are they worth it?

Certainly not if you're a student or an OAP.

Anyone know why the scheme hasn't been extended to cover these groups?

donelli

Just bought two.
Third year in a row of getting one.
they are definetly worth it if you go to a lot of the games. And if your county advances in the championship, the season ticket holders are normally located in decent areas with good spec.

They are a good christmas box too..

westmayo

You can get the ordinary Mayo season ticket for €75 or special one for €200 which gives you the same deal as the ordinary one, but also entry to every club game in Mayo for the year.
The u16 tickets look good value at €10 for the year if bought with an adult ticket, but should they not have stretched it out to include all school kids say up to u18 at least

So they charge the Nordies 75 pound while we are getting charged 75 euro i suppose we are getting better value down south then.

Well that would be about £65 & not £75 as suggested here?

Don't forget the 1 euro delivery charge too. Don't remember that from other years!

I'll be picking up one of these this year. Didn't bother last year - wasn't too fussed about having to take a seat in the stand for all games and knew I wouldn't make all of the away games in the league. Hard to turn down this year when 2 of our 3 away games will be in Armagh and Newry! It's good value for money.

Talk of ticket prices for next year being reviewed and potentially reduced. I wonder if the season ticket will continue to be as good value?
