children seem to be delighted to have there schools closed

and the teachers are more delighted..

i just heard from one in london.... 14 teachers out in the pub all afternoon, and i had been led to believe they had a hard life!
I'm trying to decide on a really meaningful message..

 don't fret sideline... i am not a teacher

however as i have shown on several occasions grammar and spellings would not be in my area of expertise

10cm forecast for tonight. Looks like another nice drive tomorrow. And no need for our US readers to scoff at a mere 10cm, it's still a pain!

 Here in Dublin 5 it has been snowing for the last 20 minutes or so. I don't think it will last but the big fear is that, if the temperature drops a degree or two, the slush will freeze and the roads will be in a dangerous state by morning.

Scoff because ye cant handle a wee drab of snow? Or scoff because the sun is merrily shining over here?
