Plasma/LCD TV's

Im going to be purchasing a new TV in the next few months and was just wondering if any of yous have any good tips or ideas of where and what kind would be the best to get?

Im looking for a 42 inch plasma/lcd and would be willing to pay up to £700 or so.

If it's of any use to you, Which Magazine has the Panasonic Viera TH-42PX7 as their top 'Best Buy' 42" LCD TV (73%), with no Samsung 42" featuring in the Best Buys at all.

The Sony Bravia KDL-40W4500 and KDL-40Z4500 are Best Buys too Ziggy (76%, both), with the Sony Bravia KDL-40D3000 at 72%, the Sony
Bravia KDL-40E4000 at 71%, and the Sony Bravia KDL-40X3500  at 68% (all Best Buys too).

Avoid plasma. They are way more electricity hungry and there is a lot of talk of taxing them in some way in the future.
