Only 2 counties have won the minor and senior football double in the one year.

Kerry did it in 1931, 1932, 1946, 1962, 1975, and 1980.

Dublin did it in 1958.

QuoteKilkenny are going for Senior, Minor, U-21 and Intermediate this year in hurling.

Again Minder, I think they only failed to win one of them last yr or 2006 - correct me if wrong please.

I heard that Charlie Nelligan was on the senior squad in 1975 after winning the minor final beforehand but I'm not sure if it's true.
At 17, Jimmy Doyle of Tipp played the whole lot of the senior final in 1957 and won the minor final beforehand.

Jimmy Doyle played Senior and Minor for Tipp in 1957.  The Minors won the All Ireland (3 in a row), but the Seniors were beaten by Cork in the Munster Semi Final.  He won a Senior All Ireland in 1958, his first year out of Minor.
