Its a very hot afternoon in LA, over 40°C, we got devil winds blowin...

hasnt rained for maybe 4/5 months

How dya find that?

Harsh, and proud.... of my green lawn

Do they have restrictions on the days you can water the lawn Joe ?

When we lived in QLD even number houses were a certain 3 days per week, uneven another 3 days and Sunday no one was allowed to water anything, massive fines if you were caught not complying

Yeah they have restrictions them but on one pays any heed, kinda like drink driving here too.... a few people get fined but everyone carries on regardless.

Feck their a Puritanical bunch in Queensland not even the water can work on Sunday

Nothing to do with the never on a Sunday brigade Joe.

It's all about been fair dinkum !! That was the answer I got when I asked the local council engineer :D

Just watched this documentary on RTE about sexual assault on US college campuses.
Did anyone else see it?

The Hunting Ground

Scary stuff ...  The one of many things that shocked me was that there is more advice available for male students who are accused rather than the victims ,
I'm trying to decide on a really meaningful message..
