Derry look like they're gone with two away games and a home game v Cork to come.

Mayo & Cork look safe and one more win should seal a SF spot.

Kerry, Monaghan & Tyrone all have two home games which should give them an advantage.

Cork vs.Mayo
Donegal vs.Tyrone
Kerry vs.Monaghan

Round 7
Mayo vs.Donegal
Derry vs.Cork
Monaghan vs.Dublin
Tyrone vs.Kerry

twohands!!!

Derry need a major miracle, especially given Donegal and Tyrone have to play each other and their score difference.

The Donegal Tyrone game will be a real relegation six-pointer.

I think Cork are mathematically assured a semi-final place now, but not 100%

Easy there tiger...maybe a four-pointer at most.  No real sport gives three points for a league win...

And Cork are not mathematically assured of a top four finish either...

Derry gone and Cork have a SF spot in the bag is all that's decided 100% as far as I can see.

If Tyrone beat Kerry in Omagh by 2 points, they stay up and Kerry go down. Anything else and Tyrone are gone.

Monaghan are all but guaranteed a SF spot, only a loss against Dublin combined with a big win for Kerry would see them miss out.

Assuming Kerry don't wallop (~20 points) Tyrone:

A point for Dublin should be enough for a SF spot, even losing would be enough if Tyrone beat Kerry

The winner of Mayo v Donegal would get a SF spot

Beat Donegal and we are in semi final , that's all that matters now.
Walk-in down mchale rd , sun out, summers day , game day . That's all .

A Tyrone win and a very lop-sided score in the other game would bring Donegal or Mayo into the relegation mix too, surely?

Given some of the scores to date in the league, its not out of the question.

macdanger2

Yeah, a massive loss (14+) for either Mayo or Donegal and a Tyrone win could see Mayo / Donegal go down

Just trying to work out what I think will happen, if Mayo beat Donegal , Dublin beat Monaghan and cork beat Derry,

Cork  12
Dublin 9
Mayo 8
Monaghan 8

Would that be right as Mayo beat Monaghan , so that would mean we'd have the dub in smi final?

Semi final attendance ... Dubs 20k, Monaghan 5k, Mayo 5k and cork 500 .. 30k double header
Walk-in down mchale rd , sun out, summers day , game day . That's all .

I think Monaghan will beat the unbeatables

A lot up in the air yet Larry.
As for Mayo, our fate is in our own hands. Avoid an absolute hammering and we remain in Div 1 regardless of how other results go. If we beat Donegal we may well be in a semi.

By all accounts we played well today away against a form team and could have won with a bit to spare. So maybe the Dub game was a wake-up call. I heard that the dressing room was poisonous after that and so it should have been. it might be no harm to get another look at the Dubs before the serious stuff starts.

You're grossly overestimating the Cork support there.
