PSNI Recruitment Ad in All Ireland Football Final Match Programme

I heard on the radio last week that the current recruitment drive is trying to attract more applications from Fermanagh/Tyrone direction, so no doubt this was at least in party for the benefit of Tyrone supporters on Sunday.

As has been said, there's no point in crying about things from the outside - change things from within.

It wouldn't matter to me if the RIC,RUC or the PSNI had been a great colonial police force and were welcomed by 100% of the people over the years; the fact is that they are a colonial police force and will enforce the laws instructed by them by British.

If people are Irish Republican, be it militant or not;  they cannot accept this.

Maybe it's simply because the PSNI's GAA team were stuffed in every game they played,during the recent World Police and Fire Games!

I once found an 'Elverys' sliotar in Belfast with an RAF logo on it. Also the PSNI have been recruiting members from the ROI for years

A friend of mine produced one of those RAF sliothars when we were warming up for a game and duly made an appearance during the game itself, the opposition keeper gave it a good looking at one time before he went to puck it out.
