Tarmonbarry is nice.  You could stay in Keenans hotel.  Only 10minutes from Longford and has a couple of nice pubs.

Myles - are you only 3 ft tall?

No. I've been in Pearse park twice in last while. The u21 semi this year being the last and no one in the terrace can see 2 meters inside the near side line. If you stand in the middle you can see nothing at the two near corners. Like I said, its a kip and amazing that it was built that way as there was a better view when there were grass banks.

Any, just cos there is a special place in the ground for OAP's like you with a perfect view you shouldn't forget the rest of us.

Like Athlone, Ballagh and all Roscommon border towns, the struggle continues............

(Although I think Keenan's is on the right side of the river).

Got into Longford Arms lads; apparently as someone said earlier that they are not too fond of the PC down that part of the world!!!I rung up and there are plenty of rooms free so Longford town I come next Saturday night.

Down in time to for a few pints and watch Donegal hammer Tyrone, then out to watch Derry play, back to hit an oul trad bar for a bit of singing and then hit a local nightclub for a bit of boggying.......Longford Town has it all.

And then the chipper at end of the night for the fight.
