Quick question, my eye sight is fairly bad (one eye is -4.5 and the other is -5.25), does anyone have a rough idea how much surgery would cost or provide a link or anything where I can find out?

Got it done in August at Optical Express in Belfast.  Think your prescription wee bit worser than mine, I'm paying £2600 all in ... and yes, I would recommend it

The only person I would recommend is Dr Gerard Kervick, he works out of Ultralase in Belfast.

Totally agree, my wife had her eyes done there and it was a first class job. Bit more expensive but a quality product.

Got it done at Ultralase in Belfast 2 weeks ago for £2700. Eyes are a bit bloodshot but my sight is perfect. Feels brilliant

Thanks for all the help lads, I get the impression that I'll be doing well to get it done for less than £3000. It sounds like a lot of money, but when you think about it, it will even itself out in terms of money spent on contact lenses and glasses over the next amount of years!
