Ah, I see.

For a while there I thought there was a minature Westport created for all the junkies ye have lying on the streets who were too wasted to make the trip themselves

I wish the Ballina lads wouldn't get too wasted to find their buses after visiting one of our many events in the TF Royal. We might have to set up passport control on the Windy Gap, Pontoon & Foxford. It might be time for a Tipperary North & South Riding style idea  ;)  Then your imaginary North Mayo capital title we all laugh at might actually mean something.

Ha ha Stephenite no wonder Mayo win f**k all we can't even stick together. We should be slagging the Sheepstealers, Herron Chokers or those other lot, never can remember, they must not matter all that much. Even Killala (Ballina) & Castlebar argue over which was the Capital of the 1798 Connacht (Irish) Republic, at least we know for sure it wasn't Galway  ;D

Photos of Maghery GAC, Co. Armagh (mentioned a few pages back in this thread) which is situated on Derrywarragh Island

In the above photo the Maghery club is the area surrounded by trees - the river Blackwater runs along the west end and Maghery Cut along the south side of the pitch, with Lough Neagh surrounding the rest of the Island. The remains of O'Connors Stronghold is just about visible at the north east of the island (bottom of the photo). To the east of the Blackwater is Armagh, to the west is Tyrone... Derrywarragh is safely in Armagh territory!

The club's grounds can be seen more clearly in the above photograph, taken from the opposite end of the island.

These photos were originally on the now defunct loughshorepartnership.com website, and would appear to have been taken 4 or 5 years ago.
