QuoteDid anyone notice the minor earthquake in Dublin last night. I'm surprised it didn't make the news headlines?

There's all these birds and fish dying in the US as well

Dixie blames the Zionists on this, well..........................America too.
Armagh, the one true love of a mans life.

It was al-queida, with the help of Iran and North Korea that caused the earthquake.
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

The BBC were reporting that this earthquake was 8000 times more powerful than the one in Christchurch. Im aware of the Richter scale but how are these times more powerful measured ?

Answers on a postcard please

Bensars - the richter scale can be used to tell you the energy released.

Japan - 8.9 =  1.41 EJ
Christchurch - 6.3 = 178 TJ

Tsunami hitting the west coast of the USA in 40 minutes apparently - and has already been by Hawaii. I think we have some posters in Hawaii IIRC - lets hope everyone is ok.

The Iceman

Tsunami's, earthquakes, on the verge of a war in the middle east, thousands of birds dropping dead out of the sky all over the world, millions of fish washing up dead on the shores all over the world..... I've never really bought into these cries for the "end of the world" but I am starting to think.............
I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight

That's great, it starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes, an aeroplane -
Lenny Bruce is not afraid. Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn -
world serves its own needs, regardless of your own needs. Feed it up a knock,
speed, grunt no, strength no. Ladder structure clatter with fear of height,
down height. Wire in a fire, represent the seven games in a government for
hire and a combat site. Left her, wasn't coming in a hurry with the furies
breathing down your neck. Team by team reporters baffled, trump, tethered
crop. Look at that low plane! Fine then. Uh oh, overflow, population,
common group, but it'll do. Save yourself, serve yourself. World serves its
own needs, listen to your heart bleed. Tell me with the rapture and the
reverent in the right - right. You vitriolic, patriotic, slam, fight, bright
light, feeling pretty psyched.

It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

Six o'clock - TV hour. Don't get caught in foreign tower. Slash and burn,
return, listen to yourself churn. Lock him in uniform and book burning,
blood letting. Every motive escalate. Automotive incinerate. Light a candle,
light a motive. Step down, step down. Watch a heel crush, crush. Uh oh,
this means no fear - cavalier. Renegade and steer clear! A tournament,
a tournament, a tournament of lies. Offer me solutions, offer me alternatives
and I decline.

It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

The other night I tripped a nice continental drift divide. Mount St. Edelite.
Leonard Bernstein. Leonid Breshnev, Lenny Bruce and Lester Bangs.
Birthday party, cheesecake, jelly bean, boom! You symbiotic, patriotic,
slam, but neck, right? Right.

It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine...fine...

(It's time I had some time alone)

It may take millions of years for stress to build up between tectonic plates. As humans we have no clue what happened more than 5000 (at a stretch) years ago.

Thousands of years could go by and people develop the idea that that is normality, then seismic events happen and we see it as strange, when in actual fact it just we haven't lived for long enough to see that it's just the way the world works. Pretty devastating stuff.

It's either that or Gods will
It's a lot easier to sing karaoke than to sing opera
