Bad manners from Tiger.  Should have putted out.

Don't think you can blame Tiger,Yang went ahead himself to putt

LL you are being kind.
Imagine if it would have been the other way around.  Wouldn't have happened.
Wanted.  Forwards to take frees.
Not fussy.  Any sort of ability will be considered

Had Tiger sunk that putt though it would have put pressure on Yang, so Yang was right to go first.

Great to see new nations winning. This will look good for Harrington winning majors in an era when Fijians, germans Spaniards. Argentinians and Koreans were winning majors as opposed to when only The Americans and commonwealth nations players won golf tournaments.

Great to see. Who is Sky's patronising host who keep referring to him as a "young man"? He's 37....

Didn't think any German had won a major since Langer or any Spanaird since Olazabal..

Call this era the last 25 years or so. Go check the record books from 1875 or whenever the British open started up to the time Seve won his first British open less than 30 years ago. I think it is all yanks and commonwealth nations or 99% that way. The stats for the last 10 years would be a hell of a lot different.

I believe Woods was expecting Yang to collapse under pressure on the way in...what else could explain his never before seen conservative type play
even more so after Harry had his nightmare 8. Did he honestly think even par on the back nine would see him win it, it's not that I'm not a huge fan
but I couldn't understand the lack of his Sunday evening killer instinct...simply an under estimation of Yang's composure on his part imo :-\

Paddy power:

Paddy Power said: "It takes a special kind of dimwit to turn what should have been our best ever golf result into our worst. Paddy Power punters are obviously the big winners here and have made like bandits getting paid out on Tiger as a winner. Our only saving grace is that Harrington didn't do the business, thank God!"

Well it is a global sport now with a wide range of nationalities playing at the very top level which is in stark contrast to yesteryear yet the Americans still have the best two players in the world and hold 5 of the top 10 players according the offical rankings.

Just can't help myself. £5 EW on Pudding Clarke at 225-1.

To be fair he strung together 4 decent rounds at the weekend.

O'Neill hope you backed him this week!
