Kids dad dies.  Iris takes kid under wing. Iris beds kid.  Iris gets kid 50 large to open a cafe. Iris gets 5 large backhander.  Iris gets kid lease from the council where she sits as alderman.  iris fails to mention this at council......naughty.

Iris and kid break up.  Iris put squeeze on kid for money back to donate half to her sister in laws church and the other to pay huge debts (WTF IS SHE DOING WITH ALL HER MONEY?).

Iris' own kids find dirty letter from Iris to kid and squeals to Peter.  Iris attempts suicide....fails.  All kept under the carpet til adviser spills the beans.

Peter tells Iris to resign and noticing the bbc hounds closing in..touching human story of betrayal and forgiveness is played out for cameras in vain hope of diverting from the financial tip of the stinking corrupt Robinson iceberg.
