Belfast's Big wheel

Took a spin on this last Saturday and was very impressed. Only £6.50 each, wife and I had a gondola (I thought you only found these in Venice) to ourselves and you get four circuits in all and a great view over the entire city and suburbs and an automated commentary which is informative, even though it is narrated by a Cool FM DJ.On Saturday it was so clear that you could see the Mourne Mountains plainly.

Great value altogether, we were quoted £13 each for a spin on the equivalent in Manchester last Wednesday and I believe the one in London is similarly priced.

Anyone I spoke to that was on it, said it was the biggest waste of money.

I got on for free as part of a RBS 6 nations promotion..

It was a waste of 15 minutes of my life.

I was on it ages ago and it was enjoyable, but got boring after the second time round, and it too was a very clear day

You could get a better view from the top of the Crumlin Road for less.

Its just what you would expect, not bad though.  It has its ups and downs.
