The toilets in Clones are a disgrace. The corporate facilities, the wee tent behind the stand. ;D

Half time in the Ulster final 3 years ago was at the far end of the Pat McGrane, went to use toilets at half time, the women's queue was right up the back of the hill the mens was like the bull run in Spain, the place shouldn't be allowed matches if there is inadequate facilities.

Quote from: LC on September 24, 2025, 10:31:30 AMIt wasn't the DUP who decided to close Casement even though the planning process had not concluded.  That was the biggest f@=k up of all.

I didn't say it was the DUP that closed Casement...Everyone knows the Ulster Council made a bollix of it...DUP seen the free ticket to get them off the hook with every other scam they're at and grasped it with both hands.

Quote from: illdecide on September 24, 2025, 10:04:05 AMToo many people have short memories on here and in this cesspit of a place we live in up here, the scandals and laundering of millions by the DUP for decades lining their pockets with millions has all been swept under the carpet as they now have Casement Park to fall back too if anything is discussed about them.
They set out to destroy Casement and the GAA and have kinda succeeded, over the last year alone they have painted a picture to the ordinary working Protestant that the GAA is a sectarian organisation with heavy links to the IRA which is going to take a long time to amend, off course we all know that's not the case but the DUP have worked their magic once again and deflected all the heat (pardon the pun) from themselves and piled it onto Casement Park.

DUP elected officials have attended many games in recent years so I don't think that's totally true.
At this stage I wouldn't want £300m of public money going into it.

Like I said, sort out the toilets, we there for another 10yrs!!

twohands!!!

Hasn't been a peep from Jarlath and the lads in the Ulster Council on Casement in a long while now.

Really doing nothing to kill the notion that they are just sitting on their hands waiting for the planning permission for Casement to expire so they can "blame" that as opposed to taking responsibility for their own incompetence.

The Casement fiasco  reminds me of the asbestos bonfire  back in July.

Authorities warned against  lighting the fire with the  health risk, danger to power supply, particularly to hospitals etc. But they  couldn't be seen to be backing down,  as it would look like a defeat for unionist culture despite the  obvious health/safety risk.

The GAA is behaving the  same here. Can't be seen to back down, as it will look  weak and  seen as a defeat. Even though the  size is  not needed, and the cost now astronomical .

It was never getting built on that scale, never in a million years, but like Civil Servants all over, there is zero, absolutely zero accountability within the GAA, the biggest losers here is Antrim GAA they have been well and truly shafted by men in grey suits.
