How the hell did meath beat Dublin Kerry & Galway?

Looking every bit of an average div2 side.

Harold Disgracey

Get the feeling that Donegal are about to run riot.

straightred

meath have lost their way since menton went off. They are just about hanging on

gallsman

Not really happening for O'Donnell at the minute.

clarshack

Sneaky wee dig to the face from Langan there. He's lucky it was only yellow.

DaleCooper

It was an excellent shot just unlucky meath man on line.

Huge luck for meath stopping McFadden goal.

Wildweasel74

Menton going off and Meath struggled there since.

Wildweasel74

Experience doing the right thing , but Meath wide open at the bck.

trueblue1234

Donegal two goal chances left behind there.
Grammar: the difference between knowing your shit

Blowitupref

Half time Donegal 0-13 Meath 0-8.  A few goal chances for Donegal towards the end of the half but still a healthy lead and hard to see them beaten now.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

9 wides Meath
7 donegal

Of those donegal had one two point wide, meath maybe 5?

Lot of merit in Meath strategy it just doesn't help psychologically. Maybe Brennan has coached this into them, keep plugging as reward is worth it.

tyrone08

Kerry would destroy that Donegal team. Amount of meath wides is unreal. Donegal kick outs very predictable

Schkite

Feels like a game Donegal will win by 10+ at a canter. After a promising start, Meath were incredibly wasteful with their shooting, that last shot after the hooter sums up their shot selection that half. Meath should have been made full use of the wind advantage and run up a lead for Donegal to chase down, but instead it's them who has to chase down Donegal, who now have the wind themselves.

Meath probably need 2 goals minimum to have a chance here, yet haven't had a sniff. And Donegal could have had a few. Hard to see Meath coming back into this, hope I'm wrong for the sake of this contest

Wildweasel74

Don't know, Donegal try keep it tight first half then just push on from the 50min mark.Murphy wasn't there, they never be near it, nobody man marks him anymore cause he plays way out the field and people dont see him a threat from there.
