Apparantly according to CNN report the US military did not use so called bunker busters on the deep in the mountain Isfhan site 'because the site is so deep that the bombs likely would not have been effective, '

Lt Col Laurence Wilkerson [who used US military estimating methodology] said the lower estimate is 100k and upper estimate 200k given the type of environment and lack of capacity to search rubble/provide medical aid etc.

I first became aware of Dershowitz in the immediate aftermath of 11/9/2001. He was on Eamon Dunphy's radio show debating with Robert Fisk. When Fisk broached the motivations for Middle-Eastern muslims wanting to attack America, and how the backdrop in the region may be a factor, Dershowitz absolutely lost it. He started a tirade about how Fisk, or anyone else who raised such matters was a bigot, an anti-zionist, an antisemite, a Nazi etc. Dunphy couldn't shut him up and eventually had to boot him off the show.

He's obviously still drinking the same loony juice. His broadside against Ireland is daft, but true to his form. We're the most antisemitic country in Europe, going back to 1939...when much of Europe was allying itself with Hitler.

It's a taster for how politics in the US is shaped though. I'd say privately most US senators and congressman couldn't give a shit about Israel, or might even dislike them. The easiest option is to sing their praises, keep the donations coming in and not draw the ire of whackjobs like Dershowitz and the formidable Jewish lobby.
It's a hill none of them feel like dying on.

Following on from my depressing post last night, weeks have passed since a few politicians in Westminster had the balls to stand up and call out this evil genocide. Two called it out on a Friday, and I remember saying to the wife, as a real tide, or so it felt was finally turning, (outside of public opinion)  I wonder how it'll all be this time next Friday?
Well, that was about 6 or 7 weeks ago, and the story now is Bob Vylan, Kneecap etc... It just shows how powerful these evil fu$kers are and how weak, morally corrupt, self serving and money hungry politicians are
