I drove to that game with a Tyrone man. Can't remember the heat funnily enough, but I do remember the pain of defeat. It was a quiet trip up the road again. Thankfully he was gracious in victory and I got no shite.

Couple great Laois minor teams in the later 90s spearheaded by Beano McDonald I think there were a couple good underage games in those years as well. Always liked watching him play, that leg break was so unfortunate.
