Super game last night again. For all Barca's brilliance in keeping the ball and creating chances, they were shaky at the back when faced with a well set up side. Yamal might regret not going to the corner with the ball, but he was also so unlucky.

What would Inter have done in that situation, you could put your life on it that they were taking a pot shot from that distance. The ball would have been stuck in the corner until the final whistle.

While it is admirable that he wanted to go on and win it, but by doing so he went on and lost it and that's the difference at this level.

If I am not mistaken after hitting the post the ball eventually went out for a barca throw in on the right wing halfway between the enter goal and midfield. Hardly a decision that lost Barca the game.

I see some Barca fans claiming a foul by Dumfries in the build up to Inter's equalizer. Of course, not a word to say about the same Barca player taking a dive in that same corner two minutes earlier when he felt the slightest of contact and then lying on the ground smiling and sticking his tongue out.

More the wider point that they wouldnt have been going for it at all at that time in that position.
Game management, Italian teams are built on it. Bit of a lesson in there for Barca.

Did they show a close up replay of that as I recall it the live view and subsequent replays seemed to be from a good distance behind the play. Must have been an Italian director controlling the replays  ;D

Well if you have prime it was free...

Yes I don't have prime. I Screen cast the match onto my TV via a free stream where this doll was presenting.

I thought Barca's third. was  very similar to Schillaci's goal against Packie Bonner at Italia 90. At the time I thought Packie could've done better to deflect the ball out of harm's way, but seeing Sommer do almost the exact same deflection, perhaps I was too hard on Packie.

A card with apology is on its way.

I thought Rice was hard done by in the incident before the goal, Kvaratskhelia kicked Rice's foot and fell over, he should have gotten the yellow. Anyways, Allez PSG!!
