Let's see how he gets on against Div 1 teams.

We're talking about David Clifford and not David Trimble yes?

There's some truth in this. He scored 1 point from play v Armagh last year.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

😂 😂 😂
We have seen. He demolishes everyone and gets where he wants.

Side Note: I don't think Kerry have to face any 2025 division 1 teams in their group this year (I could be wrong) ?

Well we did get promoted, but in our last 6 games:

Lost to Galway - by 9 points
Lost to Monaghan- by 10 points
Drew with Westmeath
Lost to Cavan - by 3 points
Beat Cork - by 14 points
Lost to Meath - by 7 points

So I doubt David Clifford or Jack O'Connor will be having sleepless nights over the next two weeks. That said, Brian Stack who has been injured for most of the league, usually has his measure - if he is back to full fitness. We live in hope.

Clifford scores at will against any opposition.

Woeful against Armagh last year, poor against Tyrone and Dublin the year before as well.

False narrative
2023 Vs Dublin - He scored 0-3, Set up Geaney's goal with a piece of magic, was involved in a few other scores and kicked a few wides.
2023 Vs Tyrone - He scored 0-5, involved in another couple of scores and another piece of magic for Sean O'Sheas goal.
2024 League - 0-5 vs Mayo, 0-8 v Tyrone, 0-6 v Roscommon,

1 point from play. It's easy to rack up scores when you're the designated free taker.

Well if he wants a transfer to Armagh (we'll find him a Sheila) I would welcome him into our Clan no bother, the man is a class act and would get his place on any team in any era.

One on one he eat most players to be honest, all depends on the supply into him.

thewobbler

Has there ever been a forward  in history, who routinely delivered just as much against the best teams, as he did against the weaker ones?

One from a mark which was a brilliant catch, how many of the free's did he win himself?
A piece of magic for the goal. Directly set up 0-3, involved in a few others.
Hit the post twice and Morgan pulled off a brilliant save at the end for a goal chance.
So scored 0-5, set up goal and 3 points, before going any further. A brilliant contribution - he's judged differently.
