A real icon of the 70s and 80s on the sideline.

I remember always getting that feeling that when he praised the opposition before a big game, you just didn't believe him as you'd see the twinkle in his eye.

Micko was a true icon of the game and his success with teams outside of his beloved Kerry is unmatched.
The suits in Croke Park really should have appointed him manager of the Compromise Rules Ireland team, Heffo got it ahead of him. Even in subsequent years he wasn't considered?
