Blowitupref

Tom Ryan is the chap in charge not Burns. Yesterday he was given another five years to remain at the helm of GAA.

Remains to be seen what will be done with Casement Park in the next five years.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

If you want to deflect the blame, themmuns is a good one.
Calling out the incompetence of the paid GAA officials in the Casement Park disaster would be refreshing.

First and foremost Casement should be vested back to Antrim, then the Ulster GAA/Croke should invest the necessary funds to reopen it in the short term and move from there, as a priority the pitch should be reopened and played on and never closed again, whatever work needs doing can happen around an open pitch, Croke Park was redeveloped and never missed an AIF, an absolute travesty for Antrim gaels

Was a Croke during that time for the hurling finals, makeshift seating arranged on one side while that stand was down.

The only finals outta Croke were the 84 finals held at Thurles for the 100 celebrations
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Croke pk pitch is not on the same footprint it was prior to the new cusack stand going up in 93. The cusack moved back a good few yards

There is a new proposed soccer centre of excellence proposed for the Galgorm area of Ballymena and you can bet every cent/penny you have that the planning and funding will be no issue here. Sin e

G always blame somebody else. 1.The stadium design was faulty from a fire evacuation point of view. Anybody with fire related background knew it was a problem. 2. The locals objected to the size of it and dragged it out through the courts. Don't think they have the same problem here.

Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

Give it another 10 years. And by then the gaa will be charging 30 quid for a league game and 10 forna child.  So a 2k seaster stand will suffice.

Costing 8 to 10 million. Casement was costing 300. It's apples and oranges.
£60million was ringfenced for the GAA if they got their finger out of their ass and organised something viable.

What about the price of the land?  Presuming your man who owns the Galgorm owns it, maybe he is giving it to them FOC.......

Part of the proposal! Galgorm give the ground on a long long lease and pick up the teams staying in Hotel in return. Proposal also to let other teams clubs & countries use it.
IFA have to foot 5% of overall cost !
