Does anyone know is there a deadline for club transfers to be initiated or finish date?

Bye-laws vary from county to county. Mayo allow internal inter-club transfers up to March 31st.

The new policy of Mayo County Board is to turn down all internal transfers unless you are going to Castlebar !

No idea where to put this put the three Jones brothers from Derrygonnelly have all transferred to a Leitrim Gaels in Leitrim.
Ryan, Conall and Garvan.
They did play for Derrygonnelly last year in the league but not in the championship.

I assumed the whole thing would have been sorted out in the off season but obviously not.

Serious blow to Derrygonnelly as they are three quality operators.
Garvan still plays for the county while I know Ryan stepped away last year and is now involved with the Leitrim County senior set up as part of the backroom team.

sure they are all useless anyway, good footballers, but they have an awful attitude towards football. They thought they were the big boys in derrygonnely and thought they could run the club themselves. In reality they have no perception, integrity or culture. They are all hard work so good luck to the management of leitrim gaels.

Another Downeys to St. Brigid's situation?

trueblue1234

It was about time the club stood up to them last year. Good footballers but not worth the disruption.

There was a 5 page letter they sent to the club that was leaked. It was sent out after neither of the 3 joneses featured in the SFL Final last year, which forced them to quit playing for the club.
The reason they were dropped is because they hadn't been playing/training throughout the whole league campaign( due to holidays/injuries etc) which is totally fair. The letter included detail that they weren't happy with the people starting over them( one being the managers 20 year old son). The joneses being the people they are basically expected to walk into the team as they are "the best".

So that was the main reason behind them falling out with the club people. But the letter included lots of details on how previous managers and officials in the club have been talking behind their backs at matches/club meetings/wakes. They were basically talking about how much hard work they were to manage and how they thought they were better than everyone else. They were referred to as "toxic people" but according to them because they can score 7 points in a game that cancels out their personalities.

So basically a big fall out with the majority of club members forced them to quit.

If it's who I'm thinking of I'd say scoring 7 points in a Hogan cup final and playing for Larne would merit a starting place

He played u20 for Fermanagh last year at centre back so he's not bad.
