The publicity pictures just show the two brothers, does that mean that is doesn't matter who the rest of the band are?

It absolutely does not matter. Their initial drummer couldn't keep time and was subsequently sacked. Noel played the drums for the recording of Definitely Maybe.

Eh? McCarroll is the drummer on all tracks on Definitely Maybe.

He is on paper. In the Definitely Maybe documentary, from about 10 years ago, it was said that on the final recording Noel did all the drumming. It was probably Noel who said that mind you , so who knows.

A few journalists was speculating that All-Ireland football final in the 2025 could be pushed back to mid August, such speculation put to bed already.

I'd say Noel Gallagher couldn't tell you what a fill is, never mind play one!

It's well known that they spent numerous of their teenage summers with their grandmother in either Charlestown or Ballagh, where they would often be seen busking in or around that area.

Would agree their music mightn't be too fancy but sang with passion and a bit of style. Cant wait. Instantly back being one of the biggest bands about, especially with how little there is out there.

Did they ever get any traction in the states?

I saw them at Austin City Limits when I was living over there so either 2005 or 2006 and there was a sizeable crown

I saw Oasis in Cork in '95 or '96.
They were good, but the Prodigy supported them who put on a brilliant show and so when Oasis came on it felt like a bit of an anti-climax.
Not sure I'd be bothered to go see them again, but my teenage kids are mad to get. But no way I'm paying that kind of money for a concert ticket. Not for them or anyone.
Always said I'd go see ACDC if they ever came back, but I just refuse to pay stupid money to listen to music.
