England got the win alright, but I don't expect them to meet a team capable of beating them until the quarter finals. The performance was as poor as it possibly could be with numerous talented players not performing.

Also what was Mainoo doing when he came on playing up front? It made no sense to me.

Trent to get punished for this result and get dropped for Mainoo or Gallagher.

They,in my opinion, aren't at the level of France. Portugal also have a stronger squad. Germany, Italy and Netherlands would be a match for them.

England have the strongest squad in the tournament for me. They're the only team expected to give a 10/10 performance every game by their supporters, media and detractors. Anything less than that is a disaster.

Too many square pegs in round holes to really give it a go.

A right fullback at left back is the most obvious one, playing Trent in midfield last night kinda proved Klopp right in that regard, maybe his concentration levels just aren't there and Foden out left didn't work as he wants to come inside all the time.
Kane was pish,, 2 touches of the ball the whole first half which England absolutely dominated, can't make the runs in behind and is at his best attacking crosses coming in from out wide which is currently only coming in from one side.

If Southgate had a set of swingers Foden would be dropped for Gordon and TAA dropped for Mainoo. I'd persist with Sakha over Dani Dyers boyfriend as England need pace up front if they persist with Kane as he's un-droppable allegedly.
