Another three points today to put us up to second place in the table and a glorious opportunity to put further daylight between ourselves and Man City when we meet them next Sunday

seafoid

It is a very unpredictable season

T Fearon

A team sitting in second place is under the radar?

Windmill abu

To win the premiership a team has to finish above 19 others. Since 1995 Spurs haven't finished above the 1 team that matters to them.

They will ignore the team currently above them (leicester City) and worry about their neighbours, to the point of making themselves sick.

It has happened before on the last day of the season (I remember they said it was food poisoning at the time) but you cannot disguise Spurs fear of Arsenal, and it will ultimately be their undoing this season again.
Never underestimate the power of complaining

Good six minute blitz to see of Man Utd today, under pressure.Desperately need Leicester to lose one game and wobble soon, preferably at home to West Ham next weekend

seafoid

West Ham could beat Leicester

bennydorano

Definitely. Think it has the look of a draw about it tho.

Canalman

Think there might be a twist left in the race. Spurs better goal difference a help. Really need Leicester to lose next weekend to have a chance. Even a draw for them imo secures it.

West ham are a good team. I could maybe see them beating Leicester. If Rodwell wasn't such a chump then sunderland would have drew yesterday.

Could do. That could bring it down to 5 with 4 matches left
I think Tottennham have the right spirit . Thumping Man U 3 nil was impressive

Maybe so but we'd still need them to drop another four points in the remaining four games. United could well do them at OT but the remaining three games are against teams with little to play for, Swansea (pretty much safe), Everton (mid table nothingness, possibly a cup final to prepare for) and Chelsea (final day, they won't be too pushed, and besides they'd be doing nothing to help the title stay in London, think OT 1999). Win those and it's theirs. That's before you look at Tottenham's remaining games - Stoke away (tricky but doable), WBA home (likely win), Chelsea away (our inglorious record at the Bridge to overcome), Southampton home (same as Stoke) and Newcastle away (could be still fighting the drop by then). Credit to Leicester they've kept eking out the wins and are nearly there, but Poch and co have been superb this season, too many draws in that unbeaten run early on, but since the Newcastle loss they've kicked on and it seems will fall just short. More to come from them hopefully.

It looks as if Leicester will hang on alright, but I think Spurs are the best team in the league, at the moment. The manager has done a great job. Only for Fearon, I'd nearly hope they win it.

An Gaeilgoir

We are not out of it yet, pressure is a funny thing.

Tonight Man City became the latest English club to reach the European Cup/Champions league semi final.A full 54 years after the first English club to do so,Spurs!
