Still no news from trials held in Omagh last week. Definate need for a few new faces but it is too much to expect that a new face will be able to fill full back or in midfield in his forst year. Was at the Omagh Trillick game on Sunday and have to say Joey McMahon looking nothing like a county player - really unfit and had to be moved from full back before the end of the first quarter. Justin looked OK and Niall Gormley was alright but did not stand out as a county player. Damian Gormley can on near the end and he was the only Trillick man able to win his own ball. Trillick are better in intermediate and i cant see Omagh survive too long in Senior withour some real effort from their players. They have great talent but sem to lack the real drive to win

Harte is not paid by the Co Board but he is well looked after. Every man needs to have his expenses covered and Club Tyrone pay for the cost of the Tyrone teams from Development Squads to the seniors. He may get a few pennies from them

Think that the Cross will be too strong for Dromore and Glenullin will have too much up front for St Galls

Read a bit of it in Sunday papers. Great article. He has his views on most things and is at a stage of his life that he can say what he likes. Like all the others is also looking for the Xmas book market

Ulster Council played last year and done very well. Since they were not based in one county there was talk could not enter this year. All the county coaches are linked to GAA HQ in Armagh so there i talk that they will enter next year with any of the outlying footballers being brought under that location. Cant see it happen. Cause too much hassle for U Council above all teams to be sen to bend the rules

Saw Sweeney play a few times over the past 2 years. Still looks that he could do a job for Tyrone. Strong in the tackle and the way Tyrone have been going would  be useful

Very early for this. The season is not even finished for some. Others are still playing. Already the rumour mill is ready to roll. Cant wait for January and AGM season
