I am planning to get married around 12 months from now.  Got engaged last weekend but I literally have no idea what to do now.

All tips on how to save costs, who to use for what etc will be really appreciated.

I am from South Down but the likely venues will probably be in Co Louth (Ballymac, Carrickdale, 4 Seasons in Carlingford, Canal Court Newry all possibilities).

Can anyone in the area suggest a band?

Thanks!!

South down I'm also from the South Down area and been to a few weddings in the past year! There was a singer called Martina Cunningham that done one I was at, powerful so she was! Strongly recommend her! She comes from a musical background and is very professional in her approach to weddings from what I'm told! She often sings in the hotel in Hiltown too.

Here's a link to her Facebook. Congrats on the engagement and good luck!

I watched it also. Very touching and personal insight into what both the Harte and McAreavey families have had to go through.

Her brother Mark who I know very little about, is a truly amazing man, have the utmost respect for him since watching the programme. Everyone who spoke on the programme had nothing but kindness and love for Michaela, I am sure she is very proud of all of them.

I recommend for anyone who missed it to see it when next aired.

It going to be a Dublin man that has spent quite a bit of time in London this year.....

Has anything been announced yet on this?

RIP Jerry. Sad news for his family club and county.

Some crazy scenes up in Belfast last night. Some of the things that went on must have been ridiculous.

Oh well you've heard stories, at least we know your point has now been made valid.
