GAA Discussion / Re: Kerry v Tyrone
July 18, 2012, 10:50:39 PM
Was in mullingar on Sunday last and what I saw was terrible. One pt from play in the first half and that was in the 31st minute . We could get a wild hammering on sat if there's not a massive improvement. Would love to see a win - even if we do it's hard to see an AI in this team from the way they're playing at present. Too many poor performances in a row since the final last yr

Dont know if theres a thread on this already - sorry if there is but with the deadline looming and so few people having paid to date whats the general concensus here? I havent paid it either but probably will next week some time. I guess a property tax is a must for the country to begin steady revenue streams in the future.

They were supposed to be in Hilltown about an hour ago.

Someone should write a smartphone app which people can report checkpoint locations.  Other people in the locality would get warnings on their phones that the dippers are about.  How legal would this be?
How legal is it to be driving on green/red diesel? Pay yer taxes and buy white diesel ye thieves !!

Martin addressing the state there now - Jaysus - he should be shot with a ball of his own dung, I turned him off. How dare them FF'ers come on the national airwaves and start preaching about a recovery when they were the ones that created the mayhem !  >:(

"We" won't walk away from anything because our political class are owned by Europe. Eventually we will surrender any semblance of autonomy or be cut adrift by them as they'll see us as too much trouble. That crunch is coming. I hope Irish people have more more faith in themselves than our so called leaders do.
Should a man buy dollars or stg with whatever lock of cash he has?

By a quango called ETCI. The job of Tom and his CIF is to get around the ETCI. I don't know how successful they are (though if Donabate is anything to go by ...) But domestic consumers don't get much rope, from what I've been told by those who know. When was it ever different? Maybe if I knew a TD ...

50,000 houses are falling down due to pyrite. Buyers had to insure with the Construction Federation's Homebond. Neither the Construction Federation nor Homebond accept any responsibility and their customers face financial ruin for someone else's incompetence. Back to the inspectors, tell me how that worked again. Tom ne parlons pas on this issue apparently.

But Tom Parlon wants the Government to invest €2bn a year for the next 3 years in construction supervised by a Qango of which his Federation will be a member.

That Tom Parlon would make you sick! Can't like him!

Some codswallop on here about NZ deserving it because they were the best overall. Both teams got to the final, France should have won but for the ref. Lost count the amount of times NZ were infringing, offside, tackling high. Phase after phase @ the end, NZ out on their feet and miraculously didn't concede a peno. Commentators saying how disciplined they are, balls, the ref was never ever gonna give France a chance to kick the winning points.

NZ play right on the edge of what's legal, in 80 mins of high intensity rugby they only give away 1 (half) kickable penalty? Like sh1t they did

Missing the rugby already

Roll on the Heineken cup - best tournament in the world - starts on 11/11/11

Sure, we already have the Rabo Direct Pro 12!!
