Are some saying there was no cynicism? It was dripping from the game but Coldrick turned a blind eye to it.

From 'clumsy' tackling in non-scoring areas, to going down holding the face after supposed third man tackles to time-wasting late on - Coldrick ignored the whole show. I think it was well over a minute before the final Donegal free was hit from the time it was awarded. Coldrick still blew her up on time.

100% correct. Coldrick was either extremely naive or shockingly incompetent.

Another big win for The Rangers 0-1 away to a team two divisions higher than them. Andy Little on target again, six goals already, making him the highest scorer in the club's history. Surely himself and Deano Shiels are capable of playing at a higher level though.

Biggest attendance anywhere in Scotland again tonight.

Excellent. Doos will now replace wally as part of my vocabulary.

Cargin v St. Gall's - Sat 8th Sept 6:30pm @ Creggan

Most of the remaining Championship fixtures are now up on the website.

That's the Milltown men fecked. Last time they went to Creggan, they could only rustle up 15 to travel, CJ played in goals and Milltown Row2 was an unused sub.

Makes it interesting, Gall's by 5.

of the Roscommon 2009 minor team, 4 of them have been lost to full time rugby - three of them currently contracted with Connacht, with one lad injured.
If the Roscommon under 21 team had those four players this year it could have got them over the line against Dublin in the final

And believe it or not, county Roscommon doesn't actually have ONE adult rugby club within the county
though rugby has got into most of the secondary schools - so they are making inroads

So if rugby can have this effect on a primarily GAA county like Roscommon, then what effect will increased exposure for rugby have elsewhere?

I personally think the GAA are very poor at promoting themselves and get poor value for money for the money put into coaching programmes

To be fair Creggs and Buccaneers are for all intensive purposes drawing as much from Roscommon as from Galway and Westmeath.

What does this mean?

Anyone following the England/SA test match? Some end to it, result could go any of 3 ways still.

Edit - spoke too soon, looks like SA will win this one now.

Great series, pity it was only three matches.
Heard some on radio today. Sounded like some horrible fielding again. Apparently they have shipped 500+ runs following dropped catches across the series. Expensive.

Aye, but England were batting today. The Proteas had a few dropped catches as well, stats like that are misleading. Boycott reckoned England were out batted, out bowled and out caught.

The KP saga seems like some fun.
Can't see KP getting an invite from Strauss after the "doos" comments, intervention from Flowers may force the subject though. Seems a divisive character all round and is probably better concentrating on the cash matches.
.

What was that comment? Sunday Times reckons he advised (via text) SA to bowl round the wicket to Strauss.

No way back if true. Can you imagine Jimmy McGuinness putting up with that?

Still, if I was KP and the IPL was offering me £1.3 mill, I know where my loyalties would lie.

Another worker bee performance from McHugh puts him in the picture

I don't get the McHugh mania, a man who routinely toe taps the ball high above his head, to a height only Gerard O'Kane and Colm Cavanagh can come close to matching. A poor man's Dooher and Dooher is near 40.

Lacey, Murphy and McFadden (especially McFadden) should be way ahead of the Kilcar man.

Pity they rarely recognise keepers because Durcan has been smashing.

Joe Canning doesn't miss too many, DJ in his pump and Shefflin would not have missed much either

In his pump, you say?

Poor enough start today. Only one of three games finished as expected, other two both 1-2.
