My limited knowledge agrees, however some shocking calls I thought from the MS coaches, surely he should have went for it 4th and 4 on the 49 against such a good team. Also that PI at the end why wasnt it put at the 1 ala NFL-forgive my ignorance

Alabama look in trouble, the Irish down 20-zip and Geogia beat, could 1,2 and 3 really go down tonight, crazy wonderful game

Mostly due to injuries on defense for Bama. Driving with a quarter to go and only seven down, I wouldn't be sending up the white smoke yet. Auburn beat Miss State without breaking a sweat.

All levels now, will be a good final 10 mins if miss state do anything here, looks like the sooners gonna be the big winners

It's a physical game we play and at times these types of instances do seem to flare up and the boiling point can be breached. However cross have all too often been the aggressors in these fracas and they don't care for any side who dares stand up to them, case in point when their bench emptied in Keady last year when Stephen Kernan tried to take a Harps players head off with his elbow. Also watching cross as an opposing fan can be a very intimidating experience. From personal experience they don't like when you try and call for free, or even shout on encouragement with many sections of they're fans resorting to personal jibes and cocky retorts yet they constantly heckle officials. Part of me feels they've earned entitlement but its really not a great experience and has left a stain on their club for many opposing fans.

Armagh / Re: The Armagh Harps Thread

Delighted we are into another final. Just wanna wish John and the lads all the very best, some amount of effort has been put in over this past few years and I'd love to see them rewarded. We are up against it as Shane McConville has Maghery playing some stuff and I'm sure they have ambitions beyond the county title. Away to dust down the flag.

Btw I was banned thereafter (again) for merely pointing out that comparing amateur GAA club footballers to professionally paid actors was totally wrong. I did suggest that the CB where in essence whoring out our players to pay for our county teams ever expanding budget. I think the whoring part got me banned considering my mis spelling of the word was made fun off in the little message I got when attempting To log on.

On a side note, refreshing to see this game was only a fiver in. Plain to see Armagh County board had no influence on price as they would put Ryanair to shame.

When confronted as to why folk who bought the live games for £5 (500% rise in 4 years) had to pay an additional £5 to view a 're-run, the county boards response was "you don't get a DVD when you go to the cinema". Although initially humoured by this comeback it really does smack of arrogance and compete disregard to our members, after all aren't we are all equal. These guys merely represent our club's.

The attacks on the Catholic faith on this thread amounts to racism/sectarianism and hate attack. If this was Jewish thread it would be in the main news. I for one was reared a Catholic but probably an atheist right now. I have no reason to stand up for any religion, I support gay rights but also feel abortion is wrong. I have many conflicting views and he many moralistic views that most likely contradict each other. I too feel Mr Fearon does show himself to be very ignorant to many views especially (paedophilia). However we seem only happy to bash the low hanging fruit that is the Catholic Church when in recent times its obvious that paedophilia and sexual exploitation is rife within all aspects and cultures within western society. Anglican church, nobility, celebrities, premier/football league clubs.

College ball really starting to rival Nfl for me. This Michigan v Florida a good game (go blue) but also looking forward to bama v Florida st

College is lower quality but a better all round experience in my opinion, even on telly.

I agree lower quality but not to its detriment, more turnovers and better plays made. I love the unpredictable aspect of it all. Although God knows why they have rankings on week one, surely week 3/4 should be 1st announcement of any rankings
