Reading this thread and looking to buy a new Tv myself for the sitting room.  Looking between 42 and 50 inch.  the general feeling reading the thread is to opt for a Panasonic Plasma TV, anyone any good recommendations?

Got inception out on DVD Friday night and thought it was shite to be honest.  Completely overhyped and overrated.  Trying to be too complex and in the end was just so stupid that I forgot why they went into the dreams in the first place!!!

Actually then watched a great South Park epsiode last night where they take the piss out of Inception, worth a watch, ill post the link later for the episode.

Is anyone else sick of people trying to be wacky and "festive" over the past few weeks? At my work i had a member of the senior management team come up to me asking me to be videoed singing part of a christmas carol. She is making a hilarious video of the different departments singing the twleve days of christmas to be shown on the last day at the christmas do!! I hate all this sh*te and refused saying that i wasn't interested. Does anyone else have to put up with this sort of crap?

That sounds very very very cringy and think you made a good mood just refusing to do it.  Nothing as hateful as being given a guilt trip though for something you dont want to do but feel you have to.....this is one of these cases but id rather seen to be a wet blanket than par-taking in something that sounds as cringy as what the senior manager is suggestiing!!!!!!

Republic could play England in the Aviva

The FAI are reportedly in talks with the English Football Association to secure a friendly international between the Republic of Ireland and England at the Aviva Stadium next summer.

The game, if confirmed, will take place on Wednesday 8 June and will be the first senior international between the two countries since the Landsdowne Road encounter of 1995 - a game which was famously abandoned due to rioting from a section of England supporters.

It is reported that the game could be worth an estimated €4m in value to the FAI.

England had initially planned to play a match planned against Thailand on 8 June, but that has fallen through, and it's reported the FAI are now negotiating to fill the date - which would give a huge financial boost to the Irish association.

Id be worried as well there with your drivng skills, dont think you could handle that drive to Dublin.  You would be safer staying at home!!!!!!!!

Casey vs Frampton would be a cracker I would imagine!  Two explosive characters to say the least...

Went to Framptons last fight in the Ulster hall, didn't get last night but im mighty impressed with him.  Its a good division at the moment with plenty of potentially great match ups.

Would also like to know what Yogibears beef is with Frampton??  Seems likable enough in interviews and is supposably getting married to a girl from west Belfast so he cant be that bad considering he is a sticky bun
