scott dann didn't play for birmingham tonight. presume that was to stop hime getting cup tied for the champions league / europa league.
So it will be him cahill or jagekla tomorrow / monday (hopefully)

If Dann had to played last night it would of meant he would only of been ineligible for any Champions League qualifiers. He would of been available for the Group Stages. In saying that if Arsenal fail to qualify for the CL he would of been ineligible for the Europa League (if he had of been played)

As a matter of interest what is the criteria for being best equipped to win Ulster?

surely its simply a team who could give Cross a realistic challenge in heavy wet conditions in November/December

Bingo. Carmen, Dromore and Omagh only team I could see doing this.

A mate of mine from Ballinderry is insistent Clonoe will win the Tyrone Championship.

They look mighty impressive. Solid at the back and able to pick out scores at the right time. Good each way bet if they were a Horse.

Though I have a sneaky feeling that Omagh will win the Championship this Year. They have a formidable crop of young lads coming through; as well as having the McMahons; and will need to start delivering at Senior level.

I feel if Omagh could just get out of Tyrone they would probably have the equipment to achieve something at Ulster level. Must be said that they are the biggest under achievers out there considering the success they have had at minor and under 21 levels down the years.

I follow Conor Mortimer on twitter. He seems to be great form for his club since returning from injury. Would love to see a fully fit Conor Mortimer togging out this weekend.

Currently reading 'I am Number 4'. Much to my disappointment it has nothing to do with Ricey McMenamin  :-\

see big dave may be on the way out; in talks with bolton;

happy enough, likeable enough chap id say, and hope he does well if he does move, just think again that we need to aim that bit higher as regards back up; he was a bit lightweight at times, though had been improving in this area....again, it hopefully frees up funds etc to make more moves in the transfer market

I think he will do well at another club. Bolton could be ideal for him. He will get plenty of first team chances there.

Any word of the betting for the Liverpool Arsenal game? Would like to see how the bookies see it.

Couple of my friends are teachers. Been on the drink four nights a week since start of July. They get it very handy.
