Have a mattress on the floor for any travelling Dublin fans that have nowhere to stay. Should be a great night craic!

Sure leave a roll of tinfoil out beside the mattress and most Dubs will feel right at home.

Given that Tyrone have struggled for so many years now to beat a top team in Croke Park, Omagh might be a factor if Dublin underperform and this could be their chance.

Yeah without doubt. Our game was a non contest and for everyone bar Tyrone fans it wouldn't have been good watching. The second game was never really that competitive despite the close scoreline and the two games today were close but pretty poor stuff quality wise. Hopefully we'll see some clinkers of games next weekend.

The second game was pretty competitive until Dublin scored their first goal before half time, I think Donegal led 3 times and the game was level until the goal. Dublin controlled the second half though.

Not if Donegal beat Roscommon & Tyrone it isn't

Whoever wins next week is guaranteed at least second place and passage through to the semi final.

If Tyrone beat Dublin and lose to Donegal (4 points)
Donegal beat Rossies (4 points)
Dublin beat Rossies (4 points)

So it'll come down to score difference. Technically, a win for Tyrone guarantees nothing.

It's hilarious that this had to be explained

I wouldn't be getting too excited about Tyrone, it's a decade since they've beaten a non-Ulster team in in a big game in Croke Park.

The team that will benefit most from the Super 8s is Kerry.

Only time that will give the Dubs a game. Can't see other than Dublin V Kerry All Ireland final.

Given that they haven't beaten Dublin in the Championship in close to a decade I'm not so confident.

Monaghan and Tyrone with a good chance of beating the provincial losers. Kildare too if they can raise themselves two weeks in a row. Armagh can't get Fermanagh and would probably be happiest with Laois.

Will they f**k raise their game, that’s two cup finals won in a week for them so they’ll go back to the usual cowardly performances

Ohh someone is a sore loser ;)

Are you saying they will?

Is this a parody account?

Anyone who had Tyrone or Monaghan hyped up for All-Ireland success in recent years only has themselves to blame.

One of the better columns on the game.

Aidan ORourke (or Jimmy McGuinness lite)  trying to dissect the tactics like many other commentators and talking about phases and line running etc

Very few good columnists/analysts. They are both extremes. Either the game is shite ala Brolly and Spillane or they are like McGuinness and ORourke

I found that to be a fairly poor article to be honest.

Jim McGuinness goes for more of a tactical analysis in his pieces no doubt, but I find them generally to be head and shoulders above the vast majority of GAA writing.

think the bbc streams only work in the north?

I'm fairly sure I've listened to and watched streams from BBC Sport in the Republic before.

Northern Sound works anyway sound lads.

Better team lost (ish) today but they have no one to blame but themselves. Wasting time for the whole of the second half.
McBrearty was on one leg and Crowe did a great job on him, realised it early and showed him the outside all day, excellent reading

Ref was brutal, some real hometown decisions. Did anyone else notice that one each mayo kick out in the second half he blew the whistle for something stopping a quick kick out? It was almost as if he was doing it on purpose. And not once did he warn the Donegal keeper about time wasting!
Very surprised he didn't give them one last chance.

The giving out about mayo pulling at the end on league Sunday was over the top too. Durcan did alright but that niggle had started after O'Donoghues point by that ban lad

A very depressing 60 mins were bookended by 15 and 5 mins of excellent football
Donegal were gone mad time wasting before k Mc's point at one stage they threw the ball away 3 times for their own free before diarmuid placed in to Murphys breadbasket.
I would have no sympathy for them , what goes around come around

To be fair Donegal ended up conceding that final point because they actually went for another score instead of just retaining possession and running down the clock.

Expect Mayo to make pure shit of Donegal today.Donegal in transiton and not beaten mayo since 2012. Mayo by 10-12 points.

Donegal beat Mayo in 2016, the last time they played in Ballybofey.

Graham Geraghty tomorrow night.
Who can forget his stand out performance in the cult classic martial arts thriller, 'Fatal Deviation'.

Decent episode, you'd think they would have gotten Kevin Sheedy's name right though.
