Er they don't have to go that far back. In fact as mentioned they only have to go as far back as the same game. That's why your not really understanding everything are you. It's not a case of Derrytresk not deserving their bans. It's about the consistancy of applying the rules.

This notion that Derrytresk were hard done by is just plain wrong. They got off way too softly. A Derrytresk player runs over to kick an opposing player who's on the ground concussed and he only gets a month ban for one of the most cowardly, gutless acts you can do. A sub jumps over the fence and hits a player with another cowardly act, a blindside punch and he only gets a month.
These cowardly thugs should have got jail time never mind far longer suspensions.

Indeed and those poor Dromid boys were surprised by this vicious assault. They were just there to play the beautiful game the way it should be played.

I'm surprised it is a new phenomenon. I have disliked Tyrone and known the kind of them since 1992. As a starry eyed 10 year old in my first foray into Croke Park I was full of excitement and hope at enjoying the National League Final.

I along with my Father and a few of his friends were sat in the Cusack stand. The game was not going well for Derry and we were getting well beaten with what seemed to be no hope in sight. The Derry sub keeper's brother and sister were in front of me and I think there was a dodgy tackle on one of our lads to which the young girl (probably about 20 I would say) said "Come on referee sort that out".

A brogue I hadn't heard before but would never forget then bellowed behind me . . . "shut your fuckin mouth you stupid bitch sure what do you know about fitball. . . lak". The girl was quite taken aback and was almost in tears when my uncle turned round to the man and said "For god's sake have a bit of manners talking to a young lady like that would you?!!" to which he got the reply of "f**k away off" and the two fingered salute.

What was appearing to be a dismal day all round suddenly perked up as Tohill expertly placed a '45 in the top corner (Fergie tried to sign him up for Utd as a direct result of this) just squeezing it through the shovel hands and flowing locks of big Plunkie . . . Derry, Derry, Derry was the call from the now jubilant supporters as we went on the celebrate our first National Title in 45 odd years.

From that day to this I have had some good encounters with Tyrone fans who have been lovely people but my overriding experience of Tyrone football and its supporters leaves a sour taste!!! The shennanigans over this year and the last few days does not surprise me in the slightest and has done nothing to quell my dislike of their team or their supporters.

Lenny I don't see who your arguing with? Is there anyone saying that the subs shouldn't be punished. That in itself will "send out the message"

In saying that I'd be pulling Dromid up on throwing allegations around without proof. If that happened in real life you could be up for slander. They've made a bit of a show of themselves in that regards.

Clipboard man actually aimed a kick/trip at the Dromid number 4 first which the Dromid number 4 responded to by taking a swing at him.

Still don't see the kick. All I can see is a shove (which is bad enough by a none player) but it's 4 who starts the swinging.

Ban the ones who jumped the fence (including any fans, tho I honestly believe these are a bit of a balls but they need to be seen to do it) . Ban the ones who were swinging and job done for the GAA.

I have yet to see a cancer that can do as much good as the catholic church. The catholic church has huge failings, I don't think anyone would argue different. But you'd need to be pretty blind not to see the good it can do either. Well blind or bias.
