3 nights of fights lads - last night look for Tim Means versus Jon Howard - great standup scrap. Then Mike Chiesa versus Jim Miller for great grappling match. Then Paige VanZant versus Rose Namajunas for a 5 rd WAR.
Tonight is the Ultimate Fighter Finale - Edgar versus Mendes should be great fight to watch and Tony Fegruson versus Edson Barboza is my pic for fight of the night.

The bill starts 7pm pacific (3am in Ireland). 4 fights on the card before McGregor's so depending on the length of them I would hazard a guess at around 5/6am maybe

What exactly is this appeal about can anyone care to explain? The ccc have applied the proper regulations and bye law exceptions in this case. It will be Deja-vu for Loughmacrory tripping down to Croke park to lose yet another appeal to their friends in the ccc. The difference being that this playoff scenario will be played to its conclusion. Music to the Rocks ears as they'll have their full complement of men back to fight for survival in December/January.

Yeah I don't understand the appeal either! Shur it's written in the regulations what would happen in that scenario. For what it's worth I think that once the County Board appeal it then the Urney Gortin match will stand, Gortin and Lough will have to play and so on.  Feel sorry for Owen Roes in all this.

It should never have come to this in the first place though.  Like I said here a few weeks ago there has to be more serious consequences for not fielding in the league rather than a £100 fine. This problem wouldn't have happened if there was.

Deserved wins for Owen Roes and Urney today.

First time I'v seen Owen Roes play in years and was impressed. Their full back was very good and number 5 ran all day.  Have to say though the Tatts pressed the self destruct button. The goals - 2 in particular were brutal to concede and I'd say at least 2-4 of Owen Roes total came from Tattyreagh mistakes.

Urney get goals. The always do and are known for it.  Today was no different. They were that bit better than Gortin who will be rueing some terrible efforts from very scorable free kicks. Undoubtedly McNulty was a big loss for them and I'd say he's gone for next week.  I would fear for them now without him as far as getting scores goes.  They are in trouble.

Due to the three-way tie in division two, in accordance with T.O R6.20(4), a play-off draw was made at tonight's meeting of CCC.  The draw is as follows: Gortin will play Urney with the winners retaining their status and the losers going to play Loughmacrory; the winners of Gortin/Urney V Loughmacrory will retain their status and the losers will play Rock.

Thought this was how it would have to happen.
