Hearing Archie Beattie is joining the Dungannon management, Holmes obviously cant commit. Was Beattie with eskra last year?

Not since he blew 3 chances of promotion with them a couple of years ago. Been with Down since as far as I know and doing spots of coaching around the county and country.

Tony McEntee confirmed as the new Sligo manager.
Div 4 the place to be it seems
Fermanaghs objective for 2021?

Seems to be the plan and then we announce Jim Galvin

Has Joe McMahon left Fermanagh to go into the Tyrone backroom team? If he has will Ricey be staying on or who will he bring in to replace McMahon?

So who all is involved in the back room team? Obviously Logan and Dooher, then Collie Holmes.

Who else? Ryan Daly or Joe McMahon?

Anyone else?

Strange move for him

An attractive financial package I would think, not that strange

No real hope of success. Could have bided his time and got a job with more prospects easy enough Iím sure. Must be some coin alright!

Who's Stephen Quinn?

S&C ?/ Coach, involved with Tyrone football

Used to coach for the Tyrone Co. Board, then the Ulster Council and is now a primary school teacher in Armagh somewhere. Definitely donít think heís a S&C coach though. Been with McGinley in Swatragh this past few years. Errigal man too. Decent coach from what Iíve heard of him.

As high profile as that management team sounds I donít think many/any of them have tasted much success with any of the teams theyíve coached/managed so far. Seems as though a high profile from your playing days is enough to get big jobs regardless of your management/coaching cv.

Pomeroy - Gary O'Neill.

Jeez. Surprising.

Why's that?

Pomeroy have a bit of a reputation as being hard to handle. Heís young and fairly inexperienced - granted I donít know how he did in Donegal? Big appointment for him to be taking a senior club. Good luck to him.
