Applying a filter etc doesn't introduce inconsistencies to the image like the ones here. It would be some serious image manipulation such as adding people into a picture that would introduce these types of anomalies.

Some soap opera all the same.

And it turns out the one they put out of them together in the Range Rover is doctored as well.

Some GCSE graphics student on placement in Kensington Palace is getting the boot.

I normally couldn't give two shites about them and wouldn't walk to the back door to see any of them but am interested in this in the hope that I'm witnessing an implosion and the start of the end of days of the British Royal family. Be another blow to the Union!

I think you could be right about that. This is really turning out to be a complete disaster.

The funny thing is the next decade could see the dissolution of the Union and the sidelining of the Royal family. The likelihood is that this will be overseen by a Labour government....is that a good thing for them politically?

The British class system depends on the Royals, it's hard to see where it goes from here if Charles pops the clogs in the next year or so.

Seniors are where probably expected with the few opting out, retirements etc

U20s would be more of a concern for sure.

I'd done a couple of trial games leading up to the start of the championship and its not for the lack of effort put in from what I could see, probably just beaten by the better team on the day?

Yeah as far as I am aware the preparations were good, which to me makes it even more worrying that we aren't beating Derry (No disrespect intended)

Is that the campaign over or do they still get into Leinster for the AI?

Derry are now in the Leinster B championship, Antrim could well be in an AI "B" competition or even lower down, my contact hasn't got back to me yet.

Fair play to Derry, they seem to have come from nowhere as they were much of a same standard as Down were at U17 with this group, but have kicked on considerably now they're U20's.

Think Liatroim should have what it takes to win Division One again. Agree on East Belfast, although I suppose there's the argument that they're not really a surprise anymore given their success last year.

Div 2 will be interesting. Could realistically see any team going up. I would say Portaferry or Ballycran will probably be favourites to win it outright.

Liatroim didn't really go all out in the league last year as they came to our place and had a good few starters along the line, but I'm hearing they've lost the Murphy's and McCusker, but that could be lies and more cash appeared from the festival funds  ;)

Quote from: seafoid on March 12, 2024, 12:56:19 PMI didn't know that Ciara Mageean's father played hurling for Down and bate Kilkenny back in the 90s.

Bate Kilkenny and relegated them to Div2 and in Nowlan park. DJ Carey was playing also.
The team bus lost a window on the Ormeau Road on the way home.
 ;D
Cork bate us in the league semifinal in Croke Park a few weeks later.

Chrissy AKA the White Hunter was centre forward that day.

Ned Quinn took control of Kilkenny soon after and the rest is history.

There was an Antrim man managing Cavan last year, not sure if he's there this year

Good for Cavan, the same county Croke Park were looking removed from the NHL's

Quote from: Armamike on March 11, 2024, 04:36:06 PMShould have won that game, but could have lost it too. It was funny to watch how the normally unflustered De Bruyne lost it when subbed. Looked like he had been dragged through a hedge backwards.City couldn't handle the heat in the second half.  Jota would have nailed at least one of those chances put on a plate for Diaz. Diaz had to take one of them.  He was brilliant otherwise.   The draw isn't the worst result.  City and Arsenal drawing the best result for Liverpool?

You can say that again.

Quote from: imtommygunn on March 11, 2024, 04:40:44 PMYeah tbh I don't go out of my way at all to watch hurling matches at the minute as they feel more like friendlies. Football has far more at stake it seems. Division 1 in hurling is a procession this year. Probably nice for wexford to get one over on davy and clare on kilkenny but still doesn't mean that much.

It is indeed all a bit "friendly" at this stage with some counties proving to be more successful at building up a panel for the impending championship round robins but hey, that's what the tier 1 counties wanted.

I don't think either have cause for complaint all the same.

Davy Fitz's Waterford bate again and relegated. He had to stop himself from throwing some players under the bus in the interview after the game.

Will he still be in a job in a few months time?

Riddle me this,  why kick the ball back to England with only a minute and a half left?

Yes, I know they were inside their own 20 metre line, but surely play out a few phases and then boot it out
