I was at the Div 3 final and could see that Sligo performance coming...maybe Mayo just didn't and will be out to prove they're a better team than that the next day??

Sligo were very impressive in the Div 3 final especially in terms of their conversion rate.  I can recall very few wides from them that day and they were incredibly fast all over the field.  The way they came back after Antrim's goal by rattling off 3 or 4 quick points completely demoralised Antrim.

I thought they would run Mayo close but thought Mayo would have enough to see them off.  I think Sligo are better than they get credit for as Antrim weren't too far behind Tyrone.

Dark horses this year?

Qualifiers I reckon will be Derry v Antrim, though there are some very tasty possibilities.

Why does it take so long to get points updated from the weekend game, especially when there were only 2 games played (football).  How long will it take next week when there are many more matches and during the qualifiers.

You really need to get this sorted or people will lose interest and start asking for refunds.

Havet seen any comments regarding Tyrone supporters tickets in Casement last Sunday...
I'm led to believe the game is not all ticket.

Season Ticket holders on Sunday were given the choice of either the uncovered seats or the terrace.  I went to the terrace and while it was relatively busy there was still plenty of space around.

Is there any facility to see the points each player receives in each game and/or the chance to see what other people's teams are as it is good to see a) what the best players are and b) interesting to see others teams.

Quick question about the new rules.

Antrim got a line ball in and around the 25min.  Tony Scullion took it, had his foot/feet inside the sideline, and under the new shitty rules, the linesman immediately raised his flag (which I thought resulted in a hop ball, 13m from the sideline)  Anyways, Tyrone ended up winning the line ball (A misplaced pass by Scullion), ricey broke up the field, played it to Dooher who scored.

Is this an example of Pat McE playing the advantage rule?

Not sure the ref actually saw the linesman put up his flag.  This happened just in front of me and I immediately noticed the linesman wave his flag but as soon as Tyrone won the ball back he put it down again.  Technically I think play should have been stopped but I don't know anymore.

By my counting thats 33 all ireland senior football medals on that Tyrone team.  Holy fcuk

And a further 10 on the bench.  Probably around 30 minor and U21 medals as well.

Incredibly Pascal McConnell, Kevin Hughes, Stephen O'Neill and Owen Mulligan also started the 1998 AI minor final. Brian McGuigan was on the bench that day too.
