I have been helping my son with the transfer test, you don't realise how advance the questions are for a 11 year old - I have typed a few examples, I am sure everyone will get them but at 11!

1. What is the sum of the factors of 21?
A 21 B 7 C 42 D 32 E 11

2. Which of the following statements is true?
A Most prime numbers end in 5.
B 2 is not a prime number.
C Prime numbers only have one factor.
D The sum of the first 3 prime numbers is 10.
E All prime numbers are odd.

3. Craig has 4 dogs. He has to buy each dog a collar (c) and six tins (t) of dog food.
Which expression shows how many collars and tins of food he needs to buy?

A 4tc
B c + 4t
C 4c + 4t
D 4(c + 6t)
E 4 + c + t

4, Look at the sequence below:
4 9 16 25 36
Which expression could be used to find the nth term in this sequence?

A n²
B n² + 3
C n² – 3
D 2n + 2
E (n + 1)²

6 divided by (1-3 divided by 4)

Or

6/0.25

Surely that is correct - 3/4 = 0.75

1 - 0.75 = 0.25

6/0.25 = 24

The no campaign could have sat at home with their feet up and they still would have won.

Irrespective of the no vote it still put the shits up Cameron. 45% is still a very large amount of people who want to leave "the union". It has to make them think.

Having talked to quite a few scots over the last while about this the general feeling was that it was too soon. The feeling was also that Salmond had pushed on with it because he wanted it to be his legacy and if he had waited out a few years and fleshed all the finer detail out it would have gone through.

You have to wonder would it impact the north. We are heavily subsidised and Scotland simply aren't. If questions start being asked then what would be done.

Exactly this.

I don't buy that. Perfect is the enemy of good. If the Scots are saying everything must be just right before they take the plunge, they're never going to take it.

+1 this was their opportunity and they inevitably bottled it.

It's something like 1.8% of the Union!

I believe life without faith is meaningless, and would be gutted to think that after our last breath there is nothing.Naturally therefore I want my eternal existence to be pleasant

I would be gutted to think that the likes of you could go on.

What time tonight should the TV stations be able to call it one way or another.  They keep talking about the result being about 5 or 6 Friday morning but if I stay up, will i get a pretty clear idea by midnight?  1.00?  2am?

No.

Prediction:

No 55
Yes 45

I think the no could be higher - as someone else alluded to the No's have been quiet probably because of fear of intimidation.

The basics remain the same.Agree repentance must be sincere.I suspect those who mock are the one's who are least certain of their atheism.

Be interesting to revive this thread in five years time.I'd expect one or two of the most cynical would have undergone a conversion due to a live changing experience, and vice versa, some now devout May not be as convinced

You really are a ballbag of a man.

Does anyone think if there was a referendum in the six counties,Cameron,Clegg,Miliband et al would be over pleading for a No vote?

Why would you care - sure the Vatican rules you.

Salmond giving some speech live on BBC and Sky News at the moment.

Salmond is a tool of tools but like Kenny said - I will love it if we beat them! Love it!

Did not Barabas repent at the very last minute,on the cross, and was assured of salvation by the Master himself

Nice religion, rape, murder - so whatever you want, then repent before death and you are saved.   ::)

You called them hypocrites. This is hardly approval is it?

Just telling it as it is. That is the correct definition of that word isn't it?
I don't see that pointing out the flaw leads to me ignoring any teachings. I'm not stopping anyone from attending church.

Just saying a lot of people aren't welcome, you and Tone are of the same ilk.
