That was a classic performance by the lads, the desire shown by both teams show why the Ulster championship is one of the best provincial championships. I would give Micky Harte a nighthood, but why did he take Coney off?? I thought he was doing great even when double marked.

there is also too much ruthless Viking blood in Dublin for the rest of us Celtic men to be able to cope with
Classic  ;D

And sure the richest county don't even have a bus...

They don't need one playing at home all the time

planting the foot on the pedal can sometimes bring out a 'miss' in the engine. Maybe there is a compression issue? Or a dodgy injector?

Surely Grainne or Sile Seioga would be worth looking at.
All day, but what's that got to do with GAA?  ;D

No issue whatsoever with Sean George - born & grew up in Ballymun, parents bought a cheap house in Laois and lived there for a few years - he moved back to Dublin and now lives and studies in Dublin

Developed in Laois, I'd say it wont be long till you lot have sneaky words in his brothers ear. In fairness they were born in Dublin but it wont be long till your scouts are out poaching youngsters who weren't. It's working okay for your clubs.
Pay them to go to college, line up a nice, cushy job for them afterwards, give their family some free tickets etc to keep them onside and all they'll have to do is declare for the Dubs. You'll be like the strange men heading round in white vans offering kids sweeties to get in with them. GAA kidnappers.
Dublin has scouts?

Young fellas are busy working down these parts. Not like in Dubilan where they can get money off their thieving parents, be they bankers or junkies.
You sir, are a complete baboon! I'm living in Dublin a long time now, but am a 6 county man, your diatribe is just looking for a row. I'd imagine you quite frequently get called 'gobshite' or 'arsehole' but I won't stoop that low.

Please forgive if I've any spelling mistakes, it's taking me a long time to type this!

Connolly is very hot and cold... Today he was hot, and he was awesome, but you just never know which fella will show up!

Well done Vincents, terrific advert for the Dublin club game...

Now it's time to split Vinnys in 2 :-)

GAA Discussion / Dubs V Kerry NFL Div 1 1/2/14
February 02, 2014, 12:08:47 AM
No thread on this? A very understrength Dubs beat Kerry, and deserve it. Some of the kids had great performances including my old  teammate Cormac Costelloe. If they let Cluxo kick the long frees the margin of the win woud have been much better and Kevin mc was the Kerry killer again. Good start to the new season

Well done and very brave. Not many talk about it and thousands more should. I know a few people with a similar type of depression as what you describe EamonM, and God knows theres several different types.

Have you tried a Seasonal adjustment light for the house you live in? I know when winter comes, some of them get very dpwn, until they start to use the light, and that gives them enough to see them through the dark days.

Another great crowd who can help and have a big link with the Dubs is Pieta house www.pieta.ie and I know a few peiple who use them. All volunteers too. Top people.

Best wishes to all here who are in dark times. there is hope

Judes and ballymun won, both easy too. Standard of referee was piss poor too. Specially the ref in the Raheny and ballymun game. Some terible desisions. both teams suffered from his crap eforts. How fellas like this gat the games is beyonf me. Ive gone to loads of games in the last 5 or so years and refs usually ruin them. All I do is go to games. Spose i shoukd take up reffin so LOL
