Kerry worried about Mayo I think.
Quote from: Mike Sheehy on August 17, 2011, 07:28:00 AMI don't think revenge is really what these lads are thinking. This Mayo team are playing more with pride now. This is a word i been hearing among the players and management a lot which is great because i haven't heard for a few years. Also a lot of the who will be playing Sunday were not around in 04/06.
I've seen a long of comments along the lines of Mayo getting "stuck in to Kerry" and the like.....along with a few sly digs about Galvin and his "man bags" and the whole fashion thing, as well as comments about having Donaghy and gooch 'whinging' with 5 mins to go. There seems to be a growing perception that Mayo will take Kerry on physically and that they will win that battle...a kind of unspoken feeling that Kerry aren't "up for it" in that respect. Also, we are not stupid, we know there is a deep antipathy toward us from Mayo folk after 04/06 so we know they are just looking for and opportunity to get revenge. I see a very intemperate encounter ahead with a few sendings off.
Is this the Mayo thinking..? If so, will they be able to back it up ?
Quote from: Canalman on August 16, 2011, 09:37:16 PMHaha, I won't belive the gospel out of their mouths! I think its funny really that they might think we would belive them for a second but sure let them ramble away, our lads will keep their heads down and just look after themselves!
Lads, in all fairness please don't post any further on Kerry's "injury doubts". They will all be there on Sunday as agile as court jesters.
Quote from: Jinxy on August 16, 2011, 12:13:49 PMI was in a gang of 7 the last day and I have a few more recruited and I haven't finished yet!
Will Mayo bring a big crowd for this?
What's the vibe around the place?
Quote from: Lar Naparka on August 15, 2011, 09:57:57 PMDon't worry i won't be loosing to much sleep over him! Would love to see him and Galvin have a good go at each other!Quote from: Sam2011 on August 15, 2011, 07:55:20 PMI wouldn't be losing too much sleep over Mort if I was you. Them cute Kerry hoors are at it again; from here o n to the throw in you are going to get a list of supposed injuries, players on piss ups, dust ups in training and whatever ye're havin' yerself.
I think mayo have a real chance. If they do the same as they done to Cork they could win. However Mort will be a huge loss. He's been one of the key players this year. Really hope the lads pull it off on the day!
The routine never changes. All of them will trot out onto the pitch come Sunday evening without a bother on them.
I suspect James is doing a Jack O'Connor and playing him at his own game.
